Family Pictures

We had a great time at big rock taking all of these pictures. Megan made everyone just be silly and play around. It was so fun! It is so great to have so much talent in this family. Michael still talks about the half-naked babe being photographed on the side of the bridge. It sure put him and David in a smiling mood for our family pics!!!! I also would love a copy of the picture from Johns game of all of the cousin boys surrounding him - that was really cute! Love Dawn

this past weekend...

was a busy one!

john's game on Saturday:

was frustrating. except for johnnie's amazing sneaky play.
he was supposed to catch the snap or whatever it's called & hold it for the kicker, instead he picked it up & threw a touch down pass! YES!!!!! the first score of the game for our good ole thomas more.

here you can see his foot is definitely in. nice drag john!here is his sneaky score worthy play.
and there is the tiny football & john's throw being blocked by a sweatshirt! doh!

his team in their last huddle.
my handsome brother.
his fan club.
the resch's!
john & his first coach. his son now plays for mt. st joseph's. full circle that he'd be there, huh?
cute moment between david & marge.
david beating up bryan for me. he said something. it's nice knowing i have so many helpful uncles :)
all in all- john played really well for his last college game!

---------------------------

& then sunday was the photoshoot with david & dawn, ryanne, michael & kate. we had such a great time frolicking at big rock. kate was of course the super model & michael felt the first pangs of love when he spotted some scantily(& by that i mean she really was wearing almost nothing) clad woman climbing the bridge with some photographer snapping away.

my favorite of the whole family.ewww.

i had david & dawn being cutesy wootsy...
while the kids snuck up with piles of leaves.
and the target has been hit.

how adorable is this?
michael is growing into such a handsome man.
i was supposed to do a photo shoot with lauren for her senior portraits, but it was rainy & there was a mess up with my flight, so we had to cancel. hopefully to reschedule if weather permits over christmas break! i can't wait schoogy.

i won't be home for thanksgiving, but i will be home for two weeks at christmas. cousins- dont' forget about cousin night on the 22nd!

miss you all. muah!

Jackson Noe!!!

Brad just sent a lot of us this article, but I thought it was worthy of posting on here! Way to go Jackson- grandpa is smiling very proudly on you!

The disappointment that surrounded eighth-grade St. Albert football player Jackson Noe when he broke his collarbone in the first game of the season was nowhere to be found yesterday.Jackson, part quarterback, part running back, part everything, propelled St. Albert to victory at the 59th Toy Bowl at Trinity High School’s Marshall Stadium.

“He’s an incredible talent. So the idea was, just give him the football,” St. Albert coach Randy Smith said after his squad — which was 2-4 during the regular season without Jackson — beat Notre Dame Academy/St. Paul 32-0 in the Catholic School Athletic Association Class AAA finals. In the final game, St. Albert continued its hot streak by blanking Notre Dame 32-0 in the AAA finals, for the largest schools. St. Albert led 22-0 at halftime, as Jackson scored on runs of 64 and 45 yards. He also played defense.

After the win, St. Albert players couldn’t find a big cooler to dump its icy contents over Smith’s head, so they used water bottles to douse the ecstatic coach.St. Albert finished the season 5-4; Notre Dame was 7-2. Smith heaped praise on Jackson. “It’s not every day you find a kid that fractured a collarbone and come back at this age and have that courage,” Smith said. “He came back and you’d have never thought he got hurt. Most kids would come back and shy away from contact. He couldn’t wait to hit somebody.”

Coming to You LIVE... from NASHVegas!!

Hey everyone...

I haven't written in a long time... it's been very busy here (check out what time I wrote this post and you'll understand the dilemna). I am loaded with work, but I absolutely love it. I'm finally taking classes in my major and am learning exponentially now. Everyday I fall in love with some new economist. LOL - I am a loser.

But not quite. I am including some fun photgraphs from this year. I thought the cousins would appreciate the frattiness of me dancing ontop of that lifegaurd chair. Also, check out the chick in the picture... anyone know who that is? I'll give you a hint: "When you think Tim McGraw... I hope you think my favorite song, the one I danced to all night long"

That's right!! I met Taylor Swift (new star country music singer)!! We're such good friends!!

I'll be home this weekend to see the football games... I hope I get to run into you guys. If not, Thanksgiving is sooo close!! Hopefully some of you will be coming down for the Vandy/UK game, but I think that tickets are sold out :( . Let me know.

Megan, I teared up in the library looking at that painting. I mis you sug! I just booked my flight to VIENNA, AUSTRIA for spring break... but, I really just want to be heading west to play with you again. If anyone is looking for some fresh air and new scenery, I highly recommend visiting Megan and Brian. The Most Fun.

Hugs and Kisses to the ones I Misses!! XOXOX

Miller lovin,

Danielle

Wanted to give you all an update on the painting. Many of you have inquired about getting a copy of it... I've emailed the artist to see if she'd give me permission to reproduce it I'm just waiting for her to get back to me. I will let you all know as soon as I do :)

It's doing really well on my wall in my studio!!!!

Working is so much more fun now.

ello millers'

Shewwee. It's been a crazy busy month for me! I just finished my 3 weddings in a row spree: Cleveland, St.Louis, Dallas. I got home this afternoon & took a very long nap. I was away from home the wed-sun for two of the trips so I feel like I've been gone for awhile. This past wedding they flew me first class- that was so cool. I wanted to take pictures of the whole thing- the heated bowl of peanuts, the hot towel to wash my hands with, the meal & the endless glasses of wine- that was my favorite part!

BUT, i wanted to post not about the huge bags under my eyes, but about the wonderful present that arrived while I was gone. I commissioned a fairly well known artist Beth Loftin to do a painting of grandpa & grandma for me. We sold her work at a gallery here in Scottsdale that I use to work for & when I approached her, she loved their story and agreed to do it. I decided on this because I needed something material "from them" that I could touch & see & make me smile. My sister has talked about getting a beautiful ring that would be symbolically them- which is what my mom did as well. I'm not into diamonds so a painting was the best option for me. I really suggest everyone doing something like this. It seems to help in some odd way. With no further ado- I introduce to you the painting of grandma & grandpa! I love it. I'm going to take it this week to get framed :)

god, they were gorgeous! look at their faces & his arms. grrrrrrrrrr. that's why we are all so hot. good genes.

didn't she do a fabulous job. i almost started crying- I love it! I'm going to rearrange my office so that it hangs above my desk & I can look at it all day long.

miss you guys. oh ps. bryan & i are throwing a party for halloween if anyone wants to travel our way ;)

ash

shu, girl. that last year goes way too fast. i was lucky enough to use my double major as an "excuse" to stay another year! it's worth a try :)

live it up- get the work done, sleep very little & enjoy having a ton of people to play with, everywhere you turn. that's what i miss the most. in real life, after college you'll have great friends but life isn't as easy & you can't just meet at the cafeteria or walk down the street to their house.

kay- thats all i gotta say about that before i start to cry thinking about all my friends i dont get to see that often...

you all still need to post pics from your fun weekend with the murrays- i've already gotten on erin!!!!

i'm getting really excited about cousin's night- it's going to be awesome!

BY THE WAY....STEPH HE IS SOOOO CUTE!!!! :)

It's been way too long....

Greetings Miller girls from Dayton Ohio!!
I've done a terrible job keeping up with the blog and I must say I forgot how fabulous it is to have the blog to go to! Megan once again your beautiful pictures perfectly captured the essence of this family! I almost cried just looking at them....just because I miss my family so much!!
School is going well. It's senior year, graduation is approaching, and I'm trying to balance having as much fun with my friends and getting my work done! It's going to blow by though, I can already tell.
Can you believe the UL vs UK game??? I bet you girls at UK enjoyed that night! I almost drove down to UK just to go out with you guys. I talked to some of the UL players and they even said the same!!! haha Oh well, I guess we can't win them all ;)
Hope everyone is doing well and hopefully we will all be together sooner than later. Thanks Giving seems too far away so I want some juicy stories now!!! Let's hear em!!!! Who has gossip....dont hold back!!!! :)

women of peace

a woman of peace
listens to all,
celebrates diversity,
weaves hearts together.
asks questions,
imagines possibilties,
dances to the beat of her own heart.
speaks kindness,
nurtures herself & others.
sparkles with honesty,
stands with courage,
acts with love,
and plants a seed of peace
in every heart.

by cindy pacileo.

i found this and thought it was beautiful.

heres' some pictures of some amazing women (& johnny & will from his first game of the season against hanover) in our family.

catherine seems to have a real nack for capturing natural beauty... doesn't she?

mama's got your pills! my mom's kitchen has become a pharmacy since her injury.

before grandma passed away she gave me her journal that she wrote to all of us. i gave it to my mom for her birthday. grandma's only stipulation was that sandy glasford gets it in the end, because she gave it to her for mother's day back in 92. grandma wrote in it pretty regularly about what was going on in our family: colin, michael, jackson & will's birth, the divorce's, sandy & bob's marriage, lots of great stuff! -knowing we'd someday read it. stop by my mom's & check it out. it's amazing you can hear her voice as you read it. it's kept me company the last two years out here in arizona. here's karen, tecee & mom reading it.

you almost forget how great her sense of humor was-

this is jeff. steph's lova! he's a great guy & i'm sure you'll all meet him soon enough. jeff & donald(steph gregory's husband) made mom a fabulous birthday dinner.

women in our family kick major booty in field hockey, here's ryanne ready to block a shot. only one person scored on her in the freshman game. They won 3-1!!!

getting ready for the jv game.

shoggie (i've never known how to spell your nickname?) kicked some major booty too. scored the first goal with in a minute of the game.

the miller fan club!

she is so damn fast.

it's weird cheering for ascumption- but i guess i can get use to it :) i hope you guys have a great year & win state!!!!

do we know how brittany's doing? kicking booty i'm sure, like miller's do!

is gus getting any better? and how about jackson?
