What Fabulous women...

Hello lovelies...

I laughed out loud at work when I read this and then scrambled to get the blog off my desktop before my boss could make out the words "anal bleaching". Oh my goodness!!

Don't worry Aunts... your secrets are safe. I am now considering the terminology myself... I wonder what purpose that could possible serve?

Ashley and I are picking up "Baby Zero", also known as Courtney, today at the airport for a fun-filled adventure in our nation's capital. Tonight we plan on touring the monuments (weather permitting - please cross your fingers for us) because they are suppose to be spectacular at night.

I can't wait to see her. Can you believe that her and Brit are heading to college in a month?! WOW. Only more naughty stories to come and more heroines to worship.

Ashley and I just bought tickets to Tim Mcgraw and Faith concert. WooHoo. We are doing well and getting a little homesick - nothing that Courtney can not relieve.

Miss y'all. XOXOXOXOX - and there's more where that came from :)

Reply to Girls weekend

Ok - that was so funny! What a great weekend you all had - wish I could have been there. Not sure about the butt bleaching but the rest sounded like fun. I'll be thinking about everyone on the 29th. I am looking forward to going to church with the family and just relaxing that afternoon at the pool. Take care, Love Dawn

well...

that post will definitely keep the guys from participating- but i loved it! i read it to bryan over the phone & we couldn't stop laughing. barb- bryan said he would never have imagined you being a wild child- little does he know :)

so my second official day of being 26 sucked arse. (though sunday was great- getting to celebrate it with stephi, even though she was hungover :) & several of you called & sang to me or sent me ecards- one of which was the perfect miller card with an older cartoon woman who takes off her bra & twirls it around while her big titties bounce up and down nearly hitting her in the face courtesy of maria!) i had to leave stillwater at 5:30am to make it to my 7:50 flight. when i arrived at the airport i waited in line for over an hour to get my tickets & then another 45 minutes in security, barely making it to the plane. my connecting flight left 5 minutes before i arrived -damn. i wait in chicago lines for over an hour to get my ticket changed- the rude guy throws the ticket at me & says run. finally onto philly. or pittsburg- or some god forsaken city with a p that let my next connecting flight leave without me, again. at this point i've either been in a line waiting for a transfer ticket, on a plane or running to a plane all day without eating more than a bag of pretzels or having gone to the restroom & it's around 2pm. argh!! i get a new flight at 5:30- after waiting in line for 2.5 hours- 1 customer service rep helping over 40 of us get things sorted. talk about annoying. i call bryan while i'm waiting on this last flight nearly in tears because the day has sucked & he does the most perfect thing i could have imagined. he says i'm getting you a hotel room so you can relax tonight. (i had planned to sleep in the rental car- if i was too tired to make the 3 hour drive to silver bay). moral of the story is to stay away from the train wreck that is american airlines & us airways.

boys rarely do or say the perfect thing, usually they say well, you should have.... or try to offer assistance but it just ends up being condescending or annoying. but sometimes out of nowhere they surprise you and make you love em more.

maybe some of our boys will surprise us by participating on this blog!!!!!!! i wanna keep in touch with you all too.

anyways i found a great deal on a rental car & i pick up my best friend sarah at the airport tomorrow & we head to vt for a lil road trip- & then to silver bay to relax a bit. all will be washed away as soon as i fall asleep.

so i'm going to post the blogs first question:

when has a friend or lov-ah done the perfect thing? something that turned your day around?

can't wait for your answers-
(you don't have to make a new post, you could post comments to this post...)

love you guys.

more of the atlanta weekend

It was a great Sat morning walking to the organic market for fresh veggies, bought some pottery and had breakfast at a great bakery and european food store.
Spent the afternoon at a friend's house pool (they were gone for the weekend and had invited us to use it). We unlocked the door to get some ice for our drinks (and to snoop around) when high piercing alarm went off. Oh dear, busted!!
Called the friend and thought all was OK. So we got our ice went to the pool and it was so nice and private we skinnydipped. We are having a great time frolicking in the pool when from around the corner of the house a voice said..."Do you live here" looking up we saw the cop...busted again!!
He was very nice, a little embarrassed (young guy) talked to us for a few minutes and suggested we lock the gate when he left. We were so glad we had not begun our anal bleaching by floating on our stomachs with cheeks apart to see if the sun would be a eco process rather than those harsh chemicals. Whew, the cop probably would not have understood our research project.

We regrouped and had important conversations about gender equality, politics and social justice issues as we played in the pool.

Late afternoon we went to Decatur (cute neighborhood with good shopping) then went to Wahoo
for a lovely dinner. Unfortunately, he neglected to put in our entree order so to make up for the mistake they kept providing more wine until the entree arrived. Oh,Oh,oooooooo
Then decided to visit another friend of Barb's and helped her rearrange her living room...quite a day.
Got home about midnight sat on the porch for a nitecap talked more and more and more until Karen fell asleep and rolled off the glider. At 2am we called it a night and blessed the day!

Arose late sunday morning and prepared a big breakfast. Don returned from his conference and joined us for breakfast. We did this final blog and then said our goodbye until July when Don and I come to L.

Me too

I too am a blogger. What an educational weekend. Karen is correct this shit is easy as long as someone else is doing it.
This is from Margie not Karen but the sisters helping can't figure out why it is showing up under Karen's site.
AAAggghhh!!!

I am a blogger

Yippee I created an account and now am blogging with the help of sisters.

This shit is easy with others doing the work.

weekend in atlanta

Karen and Margie came to atlanta to visit barb while don was off at a conference...yeah, another girls weekend!

We've spent the first evening and this morning sitting on the porch discussing very important things....like vaginal rejuvenation and anal bleaching and wondering what the hell they are!!
We found an ad in the Atlanta magazine (a big expensive ad at that) about them and intend to further research so we will be ready for the next 50th b'day trip. Please pay close attention to Karen and Margie when they return to see if you notice any differences in them.

After the research we are going to see the Annie Leibovitz exhibit at the museum to dinner and then to the play, Respect.
More later...

Friday Night

Just for everyone to know.......
I am sure that you have heard of the Kickball league that Steph and Me are in and this Friday is the tournament!! We play at 7:50 at Turners if anyone is interested in coming. It is pretty hilarious and the beers are only $2, and we could use a nice cheering section.
Hope to see you all there!!

I meant "expedition" - haha, too much museum stuff for me!

New York, New York

Hey everyone... cheers to megan "the entrepreneuer" for starting this site!! And congrats girl!! And happy birthday (wow you are a star). Ashley and I are absolutely loving Washington D.C. and have had many adventures. We especially are keen on happy hours on capital hill (yummy interns in suits) and love the D.C. harbor. My aunt kelly has been introducing us to a more international crowd - the woman loves her italians - and this led to my introduction and number exchange with Fabio, the gorgeous fella from Serbia (and I mean REALLY gorgeous). Please stay tune for future pictures!! haha!

Also, we just got back from an exhibition to NYC. Pause hear to imagine me screaming and kicking with excitement. It was incredible. We did lots of site seeing, bought knock-offs, went to my friend's bday party at a Japanese karaoke bar, and generally misbehaved in the most fabulous ways!!

Hope some of you crazy millers are coming to visit us soon... LOVE YOU!!!
