It was a great Sat morning walking to the organic market for fresh veggies, bought some pottery and had breakfast at a great bakery and european food store.
Spent the afternoon at a friend's house pool (they were gone for the weekend and had invited us to use it). We unlocked the door to get some ice for our drinks (and to snoop around) when high piercing alarm went off. Oh dear, busted!!
Called the friend and thought all was OK. So we got our ice went to the pool and it was so nice and private we skinnydipped. We are having a great time frolicking in the pool when from around the corner of the house a voice said..."Do you live here" looking up we saw the cop...busted again!!
He was very nice, a little embarrassed (young guy) talked to us for a few minutes and suggested we lock the gate when he left. We were so glad we had not begun our anal bleaching by floating on our stomachs with cheeks apart to see if the sun would be a eco process rather than those harsh chemicals. Whew, the cop probably would not have understood our research project.
We regrouped and had important conversations about gender equality, politics and social justice issues as we played in the pool.
Late afternoon we went to Decatur (cute neighborhood with good shopping) then went to Wahoo
for a lovely dinner. Unfortunately, he neglected to put in our entree order so to make up for the mistake they kept providing more wine until the entree arrived. Oh,Oh,oooooooo
Then decided to visit another friend of Barb's and helped her rearrange her living room...quite a day.
Got home about midnight sat on the porch for a nitecap talked more and more and more until Karen fell asleep and rolled off the glider. At 2am we called it a night and blessed the day!
Arose late sunday morning and prepared a big breakfast. Don returned from his conference and joined us for breakfast. We did this final blog and then said our goodbye until July when Don and I come to L.
